McTaggart Grant Lawyers is proud to have acted for Petit Early Learning Journey (Petit) in the successful sale of nine high-quality child care centres to Guardian Childcare & Education (Guardian). Guardian was represented by Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
Petit is a national operator with premium child care assets spanning Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. The complex transaction, which closed on 30 September 2023, involved the sale of six Queensland centres, two New South Wales centres, and one centre in the Australian Capital Territory, increasing Guardian’s total number of licensed places by 939 and lifts Guardian’s total network to 150 centres nationally.
