About

Mandy joined McTaggart Grant Lawyers in March 2024, having relocated from Melbourne.

Mandy has practiced largely in corporate and commercial law, with clients including companies, small businesses and individuals.  She is experienced in guiding her clients regarding contractual terms, implications and risks, as well as corporate governance requirements.  Mandy has advised in relation to sales or purchases of business assets and/or shares, shareholders’ agreements, buy/sell agreements and various other commercial documents and policies.  Mandy strives to forge constructive and long-term relationships with her clients, and to develop a solid understanding of their overarching commercial motivations and requirements.

In addition to her private practice experience, Mandy enjoyed the opportunity and challenge of her role as Legal Counsel for a major national sporting body based in Melbourne.  That role saw Mandy involved with significant commercial contracts including sponsorship and supply agreements, as well as business operations including corporate compliance, risk management, privacy, child protection, intellectual property and information technology.

Education

Mandy holds double Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Monash University.

Community

Outside of work, Mandy can be found on the golf course, at the side of a junior cricket oval or exploring the Gold Coast with her young family.
